Manchester City ran out 1-0 winners over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Friday night.
Manchester City are making great progress in their pursuit of a Premier League top-five place this season as Kevin De Bruyne struck once again..
De Bruyne scored the winner against Wolves in the 35th minute, with fellow Belgium international Jeremy Doku providing the assist.
Doku surged towards the byline before cutting the ball back for his compatriot, who fired home from 12 yards for his fourth league goal of the season.
Both De Bruyne and Doku hit notable milestones in the game, with the former matching a wonderful record and the latter notching up a Premier League first this term.

Kevin De Bruyne matches Lionel Messi record under Pep Guardiola as Jeremy Doku completes 100 dribbles this season
In scoring the winner against Wolves, De Bruyne became the first player since Lionel Messi to get 250 goal involvements in a team managed by Pep Guardiola.
The Belgian, who signed for City under Manuel Pellegrini, now has a tally of 418 appearances, 108 goals and 177 assists for the Etihad Stadium club.
Meanwhile, Doku has become the first Premier League player this season to complete 100 dribbles.
The 22-year-old completed 87 dribbles last season, with West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus finishing top on 124.
This season, Doku is first over the line in terms of completed dribbles and is firmly on course to finish in top spot this term.
The past, present and future of Manchester City
The above milestones hit by De Bruyne and Doku are a perfect example of the past, present and future of City all on show at once.
Both players are obviously the present as they’re both still representing the club and doing amazingly well.
However, De Bruyne is set to leave City this summer, and his record is the kind that only players of a certain calibre and longevity can match.
It’ll be a sad day when De Bruyne leaves, with his City teammates also sad about it.
Meanwhile, Doku has shown he’s going from strength to strength at City, with a notable improvement in his completed dribbles stat since last season.
At just 22 years of age, Doku has his whole career ahead of him, and it’ll be exciting to see how he continues to develop at City.
