Darius Vassell has claimed that Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku has all the attributes to be a top player.
The 21-year-old joined City during the previous summer transfer window from Rennes in a deal worth £55m and has started to get a few appearances under his belt in Pep Guardiola’s side.
Having been included in the starting XI for today’s Premier League clash against Wolves at Molineux, the attacker has found himself on the receiving end of some significant comments from one former City star.
Vassell says Doku has it all

Speaking in a pre-match livestream on the club’s official YouTube channel, Vassell had this to say about Doku.
He said: “We saw glimpses of him in his first match. He’s electrifying, he’s got pace, he’s got end product and final ball and delivery and what he also has he can stick it in the back of the net as well. You’re talking about wingers or wide players, what more do you want?”
With three league appearances to his name for City prior to today’s match, Doku has scored one goal, which came during their 3-1 win over West Ham United earlier this month.
In fact, his performance against the Hammers was described as “unbelievable” by Guardiola, who clearly knows what the youngster is capable of.

Having also made more carries into the penalty area (12) than any other City player, this further highlights how much of a danger the winger can be for opposition players.
Given how young he is, it’s easy to see why the Manchester club chose to spend such a significant amount of money to buy him in the summer and have him battle it out against some of their other attacker players for a place in the team.
Moving forward, with Doku now having another chance to show what he can do, he’ll undoubtedly be hoping that he can add to his goal tally for the season and prove himself to be a top attacking talent.
