Oscar Bobb is the name on the lips of Manchester City fans everywhere right now after breaking into the first-team this season.

The 20-year-old benefitted from the departure of Cole Palmer to Chelsea by making his Premier League debut in the 5-0 win over Fulham.

With each passing game, the Norwegian wonderkid catches the attention of more fans, and Manchester City supporters in particular will love what Oscar Bobb did yesterday…

What’s the story?

Well, the Oslo-born prodigy is an immense talent, and his ability was there for all to witness on Tuesday night as he tore Latvia’s Under-21 side apart in a 7-0 win.

Bobb scored his third goal for Norway’s Under-21 side in the 62nd minute with a well-taken effort, before also providing an assist as the young Norwegians ran riot.

After watching Bobb make his Premier League debut before the break, Manchester City fans will surely be delighted to see one of their own maintain his rise while on international duty.

It presumably won’t be long until the Manchester City No.52 is playing alongside the likes of Erling Haaland and Martin Odegaard for Norway’s senior side if he keeps this up.

Oscar Bobb has a real opportunity at Manchester City

After the summer departures of Riyad Mahrez and Palmer, Bobb has a genuine shot at becoming a key player under Pep Guardiola if he stays focused.

We have rarely seen a youngster as direct and confident as the Norwegian prodigy – it’s as if the ball is glued to his feet when running at high speeds towards goal.

In our view, Manchester City fans should be even more excited about Bobb due to the presence of Guardiola – the Spaniard has the ability to coach him into a truly world class footballer.

Hopefully, Bobb can avoid any injury problems, and go from strength to strength in this competitive Manchester City side.
