How old is Reigan Heskey?

Reigan Heskey was born on January, 19, 2008, in Liverpool, England. As of February 2025, he is 17 years old.

Is Reigan Heskey Emile Heskey’s son?

Yes, Reigan is the son of Premier League legend Emile Heskey, who enjoyed stints at Liverpool, Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers and Birmingham City, among others, during his lengthy and illustrious career.

Reigan is one of six siblings and one of his brothers, Jaden Heskey, is also a rising star in the City academy with the pair often playing together for the youth sides.

Instagram and X/Twitter accounts

Heskey has an official Instagram account with over 8k followers which you can find @rheskey7.

He does not appear to have an official X, formerly Twitter, account.

What position does Reigan Heskey play?

Like his father, Heskey is mainly a centre-forward but differs in that he is versatile enough to also play on either flank.

Is Reigan Heskey good?

Heskey has skyrocketed through the ranks and has already been promoted to the Under-21s despite still being just 16.

The forward really caught the attention of fans after he scored a hat-trick in just 19 minutes in his first appearance for the U21s in the 2024/25 season.

U21 boss Ben Wilkinson, speaking to City’s website, said on Heskey after his three goals against Norwich City: “He’s got an unbelievable chance to be a top player.

“He has a lot of attributes you’d look for in someone of his position.

“To come on in an EDS game as a 16-year-old and score a hat-trick isn’t something you see very often. Our job is to steer him in the right direction over the next couple of years and not let him get too high in these moments.

“I’m sure he’ll have some bumps as well. We’ll make sure he doesn’t get too low in that point and just try to keep him on track.”

Heskey is enjoying a hot run of scoring across all age groups in 2024/25 and is very highly rated at the club. Unsurprisingly, Emile Heskey thinks his son is fantastic as well.

Speaking to TalkSport, the retired striker said: “The younger one [Reigan] came on at half time and he scored a hat-trick, I think it was his third appearance in the Premier League 2, so it was great.

“He’s probably a little trickier than me, probably not as quick as me, he’d argue [against that]. They’re both doing fantastic, both different players and the younger one is doing great right now and he’s having his time.

“I love watching them. From a young age I always said I would just be the dad, I would not dictate what they’re doing. I’ve been lucky in a sense that they’re at arguably one of, if not the best, academy to be at for development so you just leave them and let them enjoy that journey.”
