Why Pep Guardiola is not on touchline for Manchester City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Add as preferred source on Google

Manchester City are in action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League.

Like everyone else, I am backing Manchester City to win against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Yes, City lost to Newcastle United in the EFL Cup in midweek, but such results do happen.

Manchester City to win vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

City, who won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the F Cup last season, are an unstoppable machine in the league.

The Citizens have won all six of their Premier League matches so far this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side have scored 16 goals.

City have conceded only three goals in the league so far this campaign.

Meanwhile, Wolverhampton Wanderers are struggling at the moment.

Wolves have picked up just four points from six matches.

The Wanderers have six goals and conceded 12.

Pep Guardiola suspended for Manchester City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

I think that City will win against Wolves even without Pep Guardiola on the touchline.

According to well-known and well-respected journalist Jacqui Oatley on X, City manager Guardiola is suspended from the touchline for today’s match after getting three yellow cards already this season.

Oatley has said that the former Barcelona manager will watch the match from the director’s box.

It will be interesting to see Guardiola’s reactions at various moments in the game.

Guardiola is a very animated figure on the touchline.

We often see the former Bayern Munich manager telling his players what to do and how to do it.

I think that Guardiola will be frustrated at not being on the touchline against Wolves today.
