Chris Sutton has shared his prediction for this weekend’s Premier League clash between Manchester City and Liverpool.
The two sides are currently battling it out at the top of the Premier League table, with Arsenal breathing down their necks.
After drawing 1-1 against the Reds at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the season, Pep Guardiola’s side will aim to pick up all three points this time around and leapfrog Liverpool.
However, one pundit doesn’t think this will be a likely outcome for the Citizens.
Sutton drops Man City prediction for Liverpool showdown

In his latest column for BBC Sport where he previewed and predicted the scores for all of this weekend’s Premier League fixtures, Sutton had this to say about Sunday’s clash at Anfield.
He said: “City are the Premier League champions, European champions and world champions… so who is going to write them off? I am. They are going to lose.
“I have a hunch that, with Liverpool being at home, they will have the slight edge and Mohamed Salah’s return from injury could make the difference for them in a very tight game.
“I will probably look stupid at full-time but I am going with ‘darling’ Darwin Nunez to score and the Reds to win.”
Having played 26 Premier League games at Anfield, City have only won twice, drawing seven and losing 17.
This record makes it easy to see why Sutton thinks the Blues may struggle to secure what would be a very rare win against Jurgen Klopp’s side away from home.
However, with the Reds currently having a number of first-team players out injured, this could be a key factor in what is undoubtedly one of the most significant games of the season.
If City were able to beat Liverpool on Sunday, this would give the Manchester club a big push towards the title and give the players a big confidence boost.
