Pundit Alan Brazil has named one Manchester United player that he feels would be able to get into Manchester City’s team.

The two Manchester clubs are set to face off against each other for the first time in the Premier League this season, as the Citizens travel to Old Trafford to take on the Red Devils on Sunday.

In the build-up to this game, one pundit has weighed in on the quality both sides have at their disposal in terms of their individual players, with the conversation then moving towards which United players have what it takes to get into Pep Guardiola’s side.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Brazil had this to say about which United player he thinks could get into City’s current team.

He said: “With the way they’re playing at the moment, City, and the way United are playing, it’s only Rashford, I think, would maybe get in that City side.”

Last season saw the 25-year-old score 30 goals and supply 11 assists in 56 appearances across all competitions, highlighting how much of an attacking threat he is.

So far this season, the United winger has scored one goal and delivered one assist in nine league appearances, playing across the left-midfield position, as well as left-wing and as a centre-forward.

Despite not being as proficient in front of goal in the early stages of this campaign as he was at times last season, the Englishman has still managed to show how forward-thinking he is on the ball by making more progressive carries (39) than any other United player in the league this season.

While there’s no doubt Rashford is a talented player, everyone at City will be hoping that he will have a quiet game on Sunday and won’t cause too many problems for the away side as they look to take a step towards regaining the Premier League.
