Jamie Carragher has said that he’d like to go out for a drink with Manchester City winger Jack Grealish.
The 28-year-old has had a successful time at the Manchester club since arriving from Aston Villa back in 2021 by winning numerous titles including two Premier League trophies, the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Super Cup.
Now in the middle of his third campaign with Pep Guardiola’s side, the Englishman has found himself being praised by one pundit for a rather specific attribute he has.
Carragher wowed by Grealish

Speaking in a recent video posted on the Sky Sports Instagram page where the pundit was putting together his ultimate Premier League player, Carragher had this to say about Grealish when picking the bottom half of his ideal player.
He said: “I’m going to have to go for those massive calves on Jack Grealish. Great player, great lad. Wouldn’t mind going for a bevvy with him and having a good look at those calves when I get out there.”

Bearing in mind how the England international caught a few headlines for his extravagant celebrations after City won the Champions League and ultimately won the treble at the end of last season, it’s easy to see why Carragher thinks a night out with Grealish could be something he’d like to do.
In terms of his calves, the attacker said back in April last year that he doesn’t do any work on them and that big calves run in his family.
With the winger having not yet been able to score a goal in eight appearances across all competitions this season, it’s safe to say that Guardiola will be more interested in seeing Grealish start to deliver goal contributions and strong performances on the pitch rather than socialise with pundits.
