Noel Gallagher has now shared what Pep Guardiola told him about Manchester City back in 2017.
The 56-year-old made the comments when speaking to BBC Sport.
So, what did Pep Guardiola tell Noel Gallagher? Let’s take a look…
What Pep Guardiola told Noel Gallagher
Well, things did not exactly go to plan for the Spaniard during his first campaign in charge of Manchester City back in the 2016/17 season.
Guardiola only just managed to get the Citizens into the Premier League’s top four, but had to endure the first trophy-less season of his managerial career.
Despite that, the 53-year-old still told Gallagher that Manchester City would win the Premier League title the following year in the 2017/18 campaign, which is exactly what happened.
The Longsight-born musician told BBC Sport: “So at the end of the first season, we only just managed to get into the top four. I was on the phone to him and he said, don’t worry, it’s gonna be different next season. He said to me, we’re going to win the league, and I’m like, wow.
“So he’s had his first trophy-less season since he became a manager, the entire Premier League has (laughed) in his face, the entire pundit community have gone, see, told you it wouldn’t work, calling him out, but it shows you the measure of the guy. He knew.”

Talk about confidence.
Guardiola feels a fourth consecutive Premier League title is coming
Guardiola can clearly foresee things in football, which makes his comments about winning the Premier League title again this season all the more exciting.
Back in December, the BBC quoted him as saying: “My feeling today is we’re going to win the Premier League. If we play at the levels that we showed against Liverpool and Tottenham, we’re going to win it again.”

If what Guardiola told Gallagher is anything to go by, these comments are certainly worth listening to.
