Yaya Toure has made some interesting selections in a new video involving some current Manchester City players.
It has been a really tough season for Manchester City and a lot of fans are pretty much just waiting for it to end already.
Pep Guardiola’s side have struggled on all fronts this season and are now fighting to finish in the top four in the Premier League.
City won’t win the title this time around, and the Champions League also looks unlikely with Real Madrid leading the play-off 3-2 after the first leg.
But this squad of players has achieved some remarkable things over the years.
They have been some of the best players in modern times in the Premier League – and Yaya Toure has now made some choices out of current City players compared to other Premier League players.

Yaya Toure picks who’s better out of Rodri and Declan Rice
Toure recently sat down with Goal to film a TikTok video, where he was asked to decide between a number of different City stars and similar players in the Premier League.
Perhaps inevitably, the former midfielder was asked to pick between Rodri and Arsenal star Declan Rice.
Those two have been compared many times, given the position they both play in.
Toure did actually find it difficult to pick between the pair, before ultimately settling on Manchester City’s Ballon d’Or-winning star Rodri.
He said: “Ah no! That’s my ‘two player’ one. Rodri is good. Declan Rice is really good. I love him. I love Declan Rice. Rodri.”
City have massively struggled with Rodri since he got injured earlier this season, and fans cannot wait for his return.
Rodri is targeting a return before the end of the season, and the hope is that new signing Nico Gonzalez can help City improve in midfield.
Toure chooses Haaland over Isak
Toure was also asked to choose out of Haaland – so prolific throughout his time at City and his whole career – and Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak.
Isak has gone to another level this season and is firmly in contention for the Golden Boot.
But out of the two Nordic strikers for Toure, it’s Haaland who slightly edges it. He said: “That’s tough! Haaland.”

It comes after Thierry Henry chose Kylian Mbappe over Haaland this week, insisting the Frenchman’s versatility makes him better.
Currently, the pair are locked in a big battle for the Golden Boot, with Haaland having scored 19 and Isak having bagged 17. But both are behind Mo Salah, who has 22.
