Savio has now admitted that he would love to join Manchester City.
The 19-year-old made the comments when speaking to Globo Esporte.
So, what did Savio say about Manchester City? Let’s take a look…
Savio admits he would love to join Manchester City
Well, the Brazilian has been on loan at one City Football Group club from another this season, after joining Girona on a temporary basis from Troyes.
Savio has performed superbly under Michel as Girona sit top of La Liga – scoring five goals and providing seven assists in 21 league appearances.
Now, the South American has revealed he wants to join the City Football Group’s flagship club – Manchester City.

Savio said: “Yes, yes (I want to join Manchester City).
“I think that when I was signed by the City Group, I had the ultimate goal of arriving at Manchester City.”
Manchester City poised to sign Savio
By the sounds of it, the teenager’s wish could soon come true.
A story from the Daily Star claimed that Savio – who has been compared to Real Madrid No.7 Vinicius Junior – is set to join Manchester City after catching the eye of Pep Guardiola.
The article states that Manchester City will be able to sign the Brazil U20 international for just £10m due to the City Football Group links – when his actual value for other sides in Europe is £30m.

Some may complain about the multi-club ownership model at times, although this development shows exactly why Manchester City are involved in the City Football Group.
Savio is not the only player starring for Girona who could soon make an impact back at the Etihad Stadium, with Yan Couto also developing into one of La Liga’s top defenders.
However, the Brazil international has caught the attention of Real Madrid as a result of his fine performances, so Txiki Begiristain has a job on his hands to fend off the Spanish giants.
