Kalvin Phillips has now agreed to leave Manchester City for Juventus in the January transfer window.
That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
So, what is the latest on Kalvin Phillips? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, an earlier story from TuttoJuve claimed that Real Madrid and Newcastle are among the highest bidders to sign the England international, with Juventus also keen.
Now – according to Gazzetta dello Sport – Phillips has chosen to join Juventus.
The Italian news outlet believe Cristiano Giuntoli and Giovanni Manna – Directors at Juventus – met with the Manchester City No.4’s agent in London last week.

It is said that the duo managed to reach an agreement with Phillips as a result of these talks – and Manchester City have also agreed to loan the midfielder out this winter.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe Pep Guardiola is satisfied with loaning the £165,000-a-week man to Juventus, as the Italian giants are not a direct rival in the UEFA Champions League, nor the Premier League of course.
Who Manchester City could sign to replace Kalvin Phillips
Guardiola may not even want to sign a replacement for Phillips, given the fact he has only handed the Yorkshireman 215 minutes of action so far this season.
However, if the Spaniard does want to replace the 27-year-old, a few names have already been linked.
One of those is Benfica No.87 Joao Neves – according to Graeme Bailey of 90min, Manchester City are actually leading the race to sign the Portugal international.

Another option could be Boca Juniors No.19 Valentin Barco – who can operate on the left or centrally in an inverted role.
It was Planeta Boca Juniors who claimed that Manchester City could bid for the Argentine, and Sergio Aguero has even tipped his fellow countryman to move to the Etihad Stadium.
Therefore, a lot of activity could happen for Manchester City in the January transfer window.
