Leandro Trossard lauded Jeremy Doku after his stunning display for Belgium in their 5-0 thrashing of Azerbaijan.
Speaking to Het Belang Van Limburg after the contest, the Arsenal forward gave Doku the credit he deserved after he shone in international colours.
The Manchester City winger seems to be going from strength to strength, week in, week out.
Leandro Trossard raves about “extremely dangerous” Jeremy Doku
Heralded as “unplayable” by Don Hutchison, the £55.5 million (Sky Sports) man registered two assists for his nation in his latest outing.
Putting in a pinpoint cross for Romelu Lukaku’s opener, the pre-assist for his second of the night as well as an inch-perfect cutback for Leandro Trossard’s strike, the 21-year-old was a force to be reckoned with.
After the clash, Trossard showered Jeremy Doku with praise, saying, “A Jeremy in this form is extremely dangerous.”

“We will be able to use him very well at the European Championships next year”, he told Het Belang Van Limburg.
Jeremy Doku showed he is a threat on both flanks
Leandro Trossard is right as Jeremy Doku is set to be one of Belgium’s key men heading into Euro 2024.
Especially if he continues to develop at the rapid rate he has already, looking like one of Europe’s most in-form wide forwards currently.
What was interesting about Doku’s display was how effective he was on both flanks.
Jeremy Doku did a majority of his best work from the left wing, tearing defenders apart, playing dangerous passes in behind the opposition backline and constantly imposing himself on the game.
But Doku managed to have a similar impact from the right as well, especially when Belgium were on the break against Azerbaijan.
After the youngster’s masterful display against AFC Bournemouth, Pep Guardiola highlighted how he could reach the “next level” if became as much of a threat from the right wing.
It seems like the former Rennes speedster has taken that message on board.
