Pep Guardiola has now reacted after being shown footage from Manchester City’s 5-0 win over Huddersfield on Sunday.

The 52-year-old’s reaction was posted on the club’s official Instagram account.

So, what did Pep Guardiola react to? Let’s take a look…

What Guardiola said about FA Cup moment

Well, the Spaniard rolled back the years midway through’s Sunday’s 5-0 FA Cup win over Huddersfield at the Etihad Stadium.

Guardiola pulled off a delightful touch as the ball dropped to him on the touchline – all whilst keeping his hands in his pockets.

After being shown footage of that moment, the £378,846-a-week tactician said: “What a quality. Nice touch, yeah.”

You can see the video of Guardiola below.

The Santpedor-born coach was one of the best of his generation, with Joan Laporta, President of Barcelona, even calling him “the best central midfielder in our history”.

That speaks volumes when you consider the vast array of midfield talents Barcelona have employed over the years, including Andres Iniesta, Xavi, Sergio Busquets and Johan Cruyff.

Guardiola set for tough touchline experience at Manchester City this Saturday

While it was seemingly all fun and games for Guardiola against Huddersfield on Sunday, Saturday’s clash against Newcastle at St James’ Park will be a real test for the Spaniard and Manchester City.

Eddie Howe has already defeated the Citizens once on Tyneside this season in the Carabao Cup, and after a rousing win over rivals Sunderland, the Magpies will surely be right up for this encounter.

Newcastle will presumably be even more motivated than usual on Saturday, as they look to overturn a dreadful run of just one win in their last six Premier League outings.

Hopefully, it does turn out to be another routine victory for Manchester City, just like Sunday’s FA Cup hammering against the Terriers – a game in which Oscar Bobb left Guardiola very impressed.
