Thierry Henry wholeheartedly believes Erling Haaland merits such a high rating as a finisher on EA FC 24.

Thierry Henry says 93-rated finishing is ‘more than deserved’ for Erling Haaland on EA FC 24

Branded as an ‘amazing guy’ by Ilkay Gundogan, the 23-year-old scored a staggering 52 goals in 53 games last season whilst having won the treble at Manchester City in his debut season.

Even this campaign, the Norwegian striker has bagged eight goals in six Premier League games, making him the top scorer so far.

When informed that Erling Haaland has been given a 93 rating as a finisher, Thierry Henry believes he merited such a score.

“You have to give a box player like Erling Haaland a lot of credit for what he does.”

“But 93 is more than well-deserved for him. I mean, it’s about right.”

“I’m not saying Erling Haaland doesn’t deserve that, he fully deserves it. I’m just saying what do you based the precision of a shot [on]?”

“But you know, the 93 is well deserved. I think I would have been there too!”

Erling Haaland is one of the best goalscorers we have ever seen

Thierry Henry may well agree too as EA FC 24 are likely to even give Erling Haaland a higher finishing rating in years to come.

Be it at Manchester City or at his previous clubs, it is hard to point many better natural goalscorers than him at his age.

For context, when Borussia Dortmund were knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals in 2021, Erling Haaland still ended up as the competition’s top scorer with 10 goals.

The Leeds-born frontman is a truly generational goalscorer.
