Inter Milan are now advancing in talks to sign Manchester City target Tajon Buchanan from Club Brugge.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano.
So, what is the latest on Manchester City target Tajon Buchanan? Let’s take a look…
Manchester City at risk of losing out to Inter Milan
Well, it was the Daily Star who claimed that Pep Guardiola wants to sign the Canada international as the Spaniard aims to strengthen his right flank, with Club Brugge demanding £50m.
It comes after Manchester City lost both Riyad Mahrez and Cole Palmer on that side of the attack, while Kyle Walker also turns 34 in May.
The Canadian has predominately played as a right-back this season, but can also play as a right winger or a right wing-back.
Now – however – Inter Milan are seemingly closing in on Buchanan, according to Romano.

The reliable journalist claims that the Italian giants are making good progress in negotiations with Club Brugge, and a deal may even materialise this week as Simone Inzaghi aims to replace Juan Cuadrado.
So far this season, the Club Brugge No.17 has scored three goals and provided four assists in 20 appearances.
Manchester City have alternatives to Buchanan
The 24-year-old is not the only right sided player who Manchester City are reportedly looking at.
According to the Independent, there is interest coming from the Etihad Stadium in Reece James, who the Citizens believe can replace Walker in the long term.
However, the Chelsea No.24’s injury problems are certainly a cause for concern.

Of course, we must not forget about Yan Couto either.
The Brazil international is currently shining at Girona while on loan from Manchester City, helping the Spanish side sit top of La Liga with a goal and six assists in 17 appearances, and can play anywhere on the right.
Therefore, if Inter Milan end up winning the race to sign Buchanan, it would not be a disaster for Manchester City.
