Manchester City are now lining up a January move to sign Tajon Buchanan from Club Brugge.
That is according to the Daily Star.
So, what is the situation involving Tajon Buchanan and Manchester City? Let’s take a look…
Manchester City want Tajon Buchanan
Well, Manchester City are currently sat in the surprising position of fourth in the Premier League.
Pep Guardiola has only seen his treble winners emerge triumphant in one of the last five Premier League outings, and now, reinforcements could be on the way to ease the situation.
The Daily Star believe the Spaniard wants to improve his options down the right flank at the Etihad Stadium, and has identified Buchanan as an ideal target.
It is said that the Canada international – who can play anywhere on the right – only has 18 months remaining on his contract at Club Brugge, and is unlikely to sign a new deal with the Belgian side.
Therefore, any bid from Manchester City which meets the £50m asking price is likely to be accepted, according to the Daily Star.

Buchanan joined Club Brugge in a £7m deal from New England Revolution back in August 2021.
The Major League Soccer side negotiated a 10% sell-on clause in that agreement, which is why Club Brugge are insistent on a £50m fee to part with the 24-year-old.
Buchanan has scored three goals – while also providing four assists – in 20 appearances for Club Brugge so far this season.
Who could follow Tajon Buchanan to Manchester City?
The Canadian is not the only footballer to be linked with a move to Manchester City this winter.
Boca Juniors No.19 Valentin Barco has also been strongly tipped to make a switch to the Etihad Stadium in January, with the Argentinian giants ready to sell the South American wonderkid.

Another South American prodigy in Claudio Echeverri could also arrive – Manchester City are said to be confident about striking a deal with River Plate.
Be sure to keep an eye on developments at Manchester City this January, as anything could happen.
