Al-Nassr are now prepared to take an extremely ambitious step to sign one Manchester City player this summer.
The Saudi Pro League seem determined to ensure that they can be regarded as one of the best divisions in world football.
The consensus is that the best leagues in football are in Europe — especially the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, the Bundesliga and Liga Portugal Betclic.
However, with the signings of former Manchester City players such as Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez as well as Cristiano Ronaldo and N’Golo Kante — the league seem to be doing their best to sign big names who still have something to offer.

How much Al-Nassr are willing to pay in wages to sign Ederson revealed
Ederson Moraes, who has been heavily linked with a move to Al-Nassr in recent weeks is believed to be “interested” in a move to the Saudi Pro League giants, as per a report on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Fabrizio Romano revealed that in case the 30-year-old departs the Etihad Stadium after seven years this sumer, Stefan Ortega is set to replace him as the club’s brand-new number one.
A latest revelation has emerged on The Sun newspaper (07/07/2024, page 57) that Al-Nassr are willing to pay a whopping £900,000 in weekly wages to sign Ederson.
The Saudi Arabian giants are also willing to pay the six-time Premier League winner a signing-on fee worth £25 million if he decides to join them.
Manchester City are believed to be demanding at least £50 million to sell their club legend — who they signed for £35 million in the summer of 2017.
Ederson could be tempted by incredible wage increase to leave Man City
Considering Ederson takes home £100,000-a-week in wages at Manchester City, a reported nine-fold increase that has been offered by Al-Nassr would perhaps tempt him to say yes to the move.
Whether the Brazilian international eventually decides to continue fighting for major honours in Europe or depart for Saudi Arabia is a call that will not be easy for him to make.
However, it was claimed in June that sources close to the decorated goalkeeper expect him to leave City.
With there being as much speculation as there is about Ederson’s desire to leave the club, especially to head to Al-Nassr and the potential wage increase on the table, an exit should at least not be ruled out.
