Manchester City recently avoided getting beat for the first time in the Premier League this season by securing a 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Sunday.
Having put themselves 1-0 up in the first 10 minutes through Erling Haaland bagging his 100th goal for the club, City were 2-1 down before the midway point of the game.
Then with virtually the last kick of the game, second-half substitute John Stones managed to score an equaliser and rescue a point for the Blues at the Etihad Stadium.
Once the game ended, one pundit shared his thoughts on a particular incident that took place in the very early stages of the match involving one of City’s key players.

Chris Sutton slams Rodri for early incident in Man City vs Arsenal
While assessing City’s draw with the Gunners in a recent edition of 606 from BBC Radio, Chris Sutton had this to say on the incident which saw Kai Havertz crash into Rodri just seconds after the game started.
He said: “So the kick-off, the ball goes all the way back to Ederson, and Havertz is making a run forward.
“Rodri stands in his way, and there’s a minimum of contact.
“Rodri goes down like he’s been hit by a bus and he stays down for a couple of minutes. It was embarrassing.”
Rodri’s clash with Havertz ended up being the least of his problems against Arsenal
After getting fouled by Havertz right after the game kicked off, the Spaniard was forced off the pitch with an injury that has since been reported could keep Rodri out of action for the rest of the season.
With that in mind, getting wiped out by the Arsenal midfielder, who failed to accurately complete any of the six passes he attempted across the 90 minutes, ended up being the least of his and City’s worries on the day.
