Manchester City youngster Yan Couto has emerged as a target for Serie A side Bologna.
Couto joined City from Coritiba in 2020, but has yet to make an appearance for the first-team at the Etihad.
He has been sent out of loan a few times already.
After joining City he then went to Girona – owned by the City Football Group – for the 2020/21 season.
The following term he had a stint at SC Braga in Portugal.
And last term, he joined Girona again and there is now talk of him heading out on loan for a fourth time.
Yan Couto could be set for move to Italy with Bologna
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Couto – who hails from Brazil – is now being target by Bologna.

He says the City Group are looking for the best solution for the young South American.
He adds that Couto is an option for Bologna as a new full-back this summer, and that talks will take place soon.
Other clubs are said to be keen.
Couto has two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Yan Couto seemingly not ready to make first-team push for Man City
So it looks as though Couto will not be integrate into the first-team squad this summer by Pep Guardiola.
Couto is a player that has big potential. A few years ago, he was likened to the legendary full-back Dani Alves for his ability to bomb up and down the wing (Goal).
But it would appear Couto’s development has not been to the point where Guardiola now wants to start using him.
And there would potentially be an opportunity for him this summer, with City looking to offload Joao Cancelo.
Plus Kyle Walker has also been linked with an exit, although the England international could yet stay.

If he does complete a move Bologna then hopefully he really impresses.
It would mean he’ll have played in three decent top-flight leagues, and maybe from 2024 he could be an option for City.
If not, then perhaps there will be money to be made by City.
