Manchester City have given the green light for numerous young players to join other sides in this summer transfer window.
For example, in addition to cashing in on players such as Liam Delap and Micah Hamilton, City have loaned out other players from their academy such as Callum Doyle and Luke Mbete.
Now though, the chairman of a club that has recently signed another City youngster on loan has now suggested that his side could now look to land a deal for a new player from the Manchester club.

Darragh MacAnthony hints at another Man City transfer after Mahamadou Susoho injury
After seeing Mahamadou Susoho suffer a thigh injury in the warm-up of Peterborough United’s recent Carabao Cup match against Oxford United, the club’s chairman, Darragh MacAnthony, had this to say on the situation in a recent episode of The Hard Truth.
He said: “Mo’s unavailability will cause us a problem because we are at our cap limit.
“Hopefully, a solution will be found. We have a great relationship with City and maybe they could offer us someone else.
“I’d rather Mo was fit and available though as he looked a top prospect in the Huddersfield game. If he’s not we will have to try and sign someone else.”
Susoho has started his loan spell on a bad note
The 19-year-old only joined the League One side earlier this month on a season-long loan deal from City.
Speaking after the game on Tuesday (via Peterborough Telegraph), manager Darren Ferguson said this on Susoho’s injury.
He said: “He took a shot in the warm-up and felt a ‘pop’ in his thigh. And it does not look good. He’s really struggling and he was finding it difficult to walk after the game.
“He’s done it before and needed an operation. I’m not saying it’s as bad as that, but I’m fearful it could be a long one.”
This highlights how much of a bad start Susoho, who Ferguson dubbed a “really good” player to the club’s website after just one training session with Peterborough, has had with his current side.
In terms of MacAnthony’s suggesting that City may give his club another young talent before the end of the month, this is definitely something that could be worth keeping an eye on.
