Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has given his verdict on Cole Palmer, a player he signed from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
Pochettino has said what he thinks of Palmer ahead of Sunday’s Premier League match between Chelsea and City at Stamford Bridge in London.
So, what has Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino said about former Manchester City attacking player Cole Palmer?
Let’s take a look.
What’s the story?
Well, Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has been speaking about Cole Palmer ahead of the Premier League match against Manchester City in London on Sunday.
Chelsea signed Palmer from Premier League rivals City in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or a winger, has hit the ground running at Chelsea.
The England Under-21 international has scored three goals and given two assists in five Premier League starts and has provided two assists in two Carabao Cup matches for the Blues this season.

I think that Palmer will start for Chelsea against his former club City on Sunday.
And, Pochettino is looking forward to it, saying that he is pleased that Chelsea signed him from City.
Pochettino said about Palmer, as quoted in Football.London: “I think he is a clever guy that adapted really quick.
“We are building the team and he took advantage and was so clever to see the situation and to show character and personality and then good performance.
“We are so happy with him, he needs to improve but special for him to play against his former teammates and club.
“We trust in him and he needs to improve but he has shown great quality.”
Manchester City need to be wary of Chelsea player Cole Palmer
In my opinion, Manchester City need to watch out for Cole Palmer in the match against Chelsea.
I believe that Palmer will be doing his best to show City just how good a player he is.
The 21-year-old is just starting his career and could develop into a superb player in the future.
City manager Pep Guardiola needs to work out a way to stop Palmer from playing his best football on Sunday.
The Citizens are at the top of the Premier League table with 27 points from 11 matches, while Chelsea are 10th with 15 points from 11 games.
