Erling Haaland is one of the best strikers in the world, but the Manchester City star had an off-day against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium this past weekend.
Manchester City slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.
Not many City players played to their usual level, and that includes Erling Haaland.
The 23-year-old is one of the most potent strikers on the planet, but he was kept out of the game by Wolves defender Craig Dawson.

The £51 million (Sky Sports) Norway international striker could not threaten the Wolves goal.
City midfielders also failed to get the right balls to Haaland.
It was one of the worst performances from Haaland in a City shirt so far in his career.
A Wolverhampton Wanderers fan takes aim at Manchester City striker Erling Haaland
And, one Wolverhampton Wanderers fan was having fun at Haaland’s expense on BBC 606 on Sunday.
The Wolves supporter mocked Haaland live on the radio, but former Chelsea and Celtic striker Chris Sutton was having none of it.
The Wolves fan said: “We are not getting enough credit. Haaland who? That was the question yesterday.”
Sutton responded: “Come on, that’s a bit disrespectful, Steve.”
Erling Haaland will be top scorer in Premier League this season
Wolverhampton Wanderers may have won against Manchester City this past weekend, but that does not mean much really.
No one expects Wolves to do much of note this season except maybe survive in the Premier League.
On the other hand, City are expected to win major trophies this season.
Just like they did last season.
Let us not forget that Pep Guardiola’s side won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season.
Erling Haaland scored as many as 36 goals in 33 Premier League starts for City last season.
The 23-year-old already has eight goals in seven league appearances for the Citizens this campaign.
I am backing Haaland to end up as the top scorer in the Premier League this season.
We should not be surprised if the striker scored more goals on his own than Wolves in all competitions this season.
