Manchester City are regularly linked with many of Europe’s top talents.
After Pep Guardiola’s side won a fourth consecutive Premier League trophy last season, the Manchester club have been linked with several players across the top five leagues in Europe.
One of those players includes RB Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo, who Bild reported earlier this month is of interest to the City manager.
The Spaniard has a release clause in his contract with Leipzig worth €60m (£50m) but it is expected to expire on July 20.
Now though, the 26-year-old has been speaking to the media about his future and how he’s feeling about his current situation.

Dani Olmo addresses his future amid Man City transfer links
In a recent interview with El Larguero, Olmo opened up about his future amid recent transfer links to a range of clubs, including City.
He said: “I’m not worried. I have my people who take care of everything. I have too much to do with the Euros to think about other things. Especially now with the final ahead. I don’t have anything else on my mind.
“You know what you have to do. If it’s later, you’ll have to fight a little. We’ll see. I have a contract with RB Leipzig. It’s not something I think about. The people I trust already know my opinion and what I want to do. That’s the only thing that matters.
“We have a very good relationship with the coach and the sports management. There won’t be any problem. It is always important that they bet on you.
“All I want is to win and keep winning. I said that when I renewed my contract. They wanted to make a winning project and that is why I renewed. I want to win titles.”
Olmo could well be on the move this summer
After scoring eight goals and delivering five assists in 25 appearances across all competitions last season, Olmo has gone on to score three goals and provide two assists in five games with Spain in the 2024 European Championship.
In fact, Paul Merson recently said that he has been amazed by what he’s seen from the Leipzig star in the tournament.
Even though journalist Alex Crook recently claimed on his X account that City aren’t looking to land a deal for Olmo, we feel that it’s not impossible their stance could change, especially since his release clause gives them an opportunity to secure a deal for him.
