Manchester City beat Manchester United 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium to keep the pressure on Liverpool – and Dion Dublin reckons Bernardo Silva inspired the hosts to the win.
Pep Guardiola watched his side come from behind to defeat the Red Devils, and it was a deserved three points.
City fell behind early doors after a goal from Marcus Rashford against the run of play.
But Phil Foden popped up with two goals in the second-half to turn the game on its head, and Erling Haaland, after an incredible miss just before half-time, scored to wrap the game up.
Foden will grab all the headlines, but Dion Dublin reckons it was actually Bernardo Silva who led City to victory today…
Dion Dublin hails Bernardo Silva after Manchester City beat Manchester United

Bernardo Silva was always going to be impactful today. He always tends to step up when City face United.
The Portuguese was just terrific today as he picked up little pockets of space, despite United trying to be very compact.
His performance was brilliant, and Dublin feels that it was actually him who guided City to victory today.
He said (via BBC Sport): “City’s organisation and concentration, even at 1-0 down I thought they would get a goal.
“Bernardo Silva has organised and orchestrated everything that has gone on in the second half – he has been outstanding. City deserve it.

“They played some good football and were very patient, Bernardo Silva led this team to victory.
“But, today belongs to Phil Foden what a young player and an amazing footballing brain – two brilliant goals.”
Bernardo excellent as per usual
£43 million star Bernardo was fantastic against United, to the surprise of no City fan.
The Portuguese international is just a world-class player, and there is something about playing United that he just loves.
It isn’t just about the control he brings to City in the middle and final thirds, it’s about the work-rate he brings. It is just incredible to watch him do all facets of the game to such high standards.
The day Bernardo leaves this club will be an extremely sad one. It has been talked about for a few summers and it always feels there is potential for him to go. When it finally does happen, it will certainly sting.
