Divine Mukasa has named the Manchester City player who always helps him out.
The 18-year-old made his first start for City in their latest 2-0 win against Huddersfield Town, with Pep Guardiola describing Mukasa as “exceptional” as he looked at home as a first-team player.
Considering the teenager looks likely to become the next big thing from City’s academy, it is important for the senior players to look out for him.
Mukasa is training with Manchester City’s first-team regularly and being eased into the men’s game.
The likes of Phil Foden, Rico Lewis, Nico O’Reilly and Oscar Bobb are all successful examples of players who broke through into City’s senior setup and became staple first-team players.

Foden and Lewis, in particular have played plenty of first-team football and are relied upon by Pep Guardiola.
With Mukasa being an attacking midfielder, he must especially study the former’s game to hit the same heights as the 25-year-old.
Divine Mukasa told Manchester Evening News that Foden is helping him out a lot in particular, revealing: “I think he’s the best player I’ve ever played with and such a nice guy as well. He helps me a lot. It’s just been a pleasure to play with him.”

“He’s just really encouraging. Any information, even small things like the warm-up and stuff like that, where I may not know what to do, he just helps me out and is really encouraging as well.”

Mukasa’s revelation will delight Manchester City fans as it shows that Foden is growing into a leader.
Spending his entire career at the Etihad Stadium, the midfielder knows what it takes to reach the top under Pep Guardiola.
