Ederson has been a vital player for Manchester City during his time at the club.
Having been at the club since 2017, when City paid Benfica £35m to bring him to the Etihad Stadium, the shot-stopper has gone on to make 341 appearances for the Blues.
In fact, only Bernardo Silva (364) and Kevin De Bruyne (347) have made more appearances for City under Pep Guardiola than Ederson.
The Brazilian showed how crucial he can be for the team in his latest appearance for the Blues, as Mateo Kovacic said Ederson rescued City in their recent win over Fulham.
Now in his eighth season at the Manchester club, Ederson has shared some behind-the-scenes details on what Guardiola is like to have as a manager.

Ederson says how Guardiola can be ‘annoying’ at Man City
While taking part in an event for Children’s Day in Brazil, Ederson was asked by one child if Guardiola is nice, annoying or angry.
The goalkeeper then gave this answer about his manager (via ESPN).
He said: “You’re going to get me in trouble. He’s all three, he’s a nice guy, he’s sometimes annoying, in the sense of [being] demanding, because he has to [be] demanding to a professional [player], and he’s also angry when he has to be angry.
“So he has a mixture of all three. But he’s a nice guy off the pitch, and he’s a very, very demanding guy on it.
“And he’s also a guy who gets angry like any other person, like any other coach, when things don’t go well, when the team doesn’t play well.
“Of course, we know that we’re not going to be able to play 70 games at a brilliant level, of course, in one game or another, there’s going to be a dip.
“I’ve been able to play a big part in the project. You take everything Guardiola has built up with the group, with the squad and everything he’s been able to reformulate practically.
“You see every Premier League game today, how the teams try to play more football, have more possession, it’s completely different from when he arrived.
“So to be able to be part of this project and achieve everything I’ve achieved, I feel very honoured, it really is a childhood dream.”
Kalvin Phillips admits Guardiola once left him ‘frustrated’
Even though Ederson clarified that Guardiola’s annoying tendencies are due to how demanding he is, he isn’t the first player to share some negative feelings towards the Catalan.
Specifically, Kalvin Phillips said that he was “frustrated” when Guardiola publically criticised his fitness after returning from the 2022 World Cup and the impact it had in terms of other clubs asking the midfielder about it.
Taking into account how many trophies the 53-year-old has won throughout his managerial career, it shouldn’t surprise anyone to hear that he can be very demanding of his players behind the scenes.
With that in mind, it’s better for Ederson to have a demanding manager who pushes them to consistent titles than one who doesn’t and isn’t able to get the best out of his players.
