Every EA FC 25 player rating leak, Man City now have a new highest-rated player on the game with Erling Haaland

The release of EA FC 25 is just around the corner and a deluge of player ratings have leaked well ahead of time, with Manchester City’s stars dominating the top of the list.

EA’s flagship football videogame, which changed names from FIFA to EA FC last year, always garners hype ahead of its annual release, especially around player ratings.

Gamers and club fans are always eager to see how good their favourite team will be in the game and if their favourite players will be fairly represented with the appropriate stats.

Some ratings tend to leak ahead of time but, with EA FC 25 not out for another month until September 27, it appears the vast majority of the game’s best players and teams have already leaked.

Manchester City fans certainly won’t have much room for complaints as, if the leaks are true, they will have two players rated as the best in the entire game.

Man City EA FC 25 ratings as Haaland joined by teammate at the top

Erling Haaland, who sent a lovely goodbye message to Joao Cancelo on Tuesday, was already on that pedestal, alongside Kylian Mbappe, with a 91 rating but the pair have been joined at the top of the mountain in the men’s game by Rodri.

The midfield maestro Rodri, who has yet to play so far this season, has been given a +2 upgrade from 89 to 91, making him the first defensive midfielder to ever be the highest-ranked player in the game.

Barcelona Women star Aitana Bonmati is also rated 91, making them the four best players on EA FC 25.

Rodri has overtaken Kevin De Bruyne, who saw his rating slip from 91 back to 90 after seven years. In another interesting change, Ederson has been given the Long Ball PlayStyle Plus, showing that goalkeepers can have outfield play styles in the new game.

Man City EA FC 25 upgrades and downgrades

Rodri isn’t the only player to have his rating upgraded this year. In fact, the biggest upgrade goes to Savinho, who has climbed a massive 12 points from the 70 he was rated at the start of EA FC 24 to 82 this year.

Oscar Bobb has climbed up eight points from 64 to 72 (a stat that will surely get even higher next season), Rico Lewis has gone from 73 to 76, Jeremy Doku from 77 to 80, Manuel Akanji from 82 to 84, Nathan Ake from 81 to 84, Stefan Ortega from 79 to 81 and Phil Foden from 85 to 88.

Those are all big increases while Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic and Ilkay Gundogan have each been given a 1-point upgrade. Ederson, Bernardo, John Stones, Kyle Walker and Matheus Nunes all stay the same, like Haaland.

The only other player to be downgraded alongside De Bruyne is Jack Grealish, who fell from 85 to 84.
