Txiki Begiristain’s tenure at Manchester City will come to an end in 2025 and here is every player he recruited to the club.
It was revealed on Tuesday night that beloved Manchester City sporting director Txiki Begiristain will be leaving the club in August 2025 as he brings his career to an end.
City have an incredibly tough task in replacing a man who has been so pivotal to their success over the last 12 years.
Sporting’s Hugo Viana is the current front runner and, if he gets the job, he will have humungous shoes to fill.
Begiristain joined City in October 2012 after leaving his post at Barcelona two years before and paved the way for Pep Guardiola to join in 2016 to make the club the dominant force it is today.
Though Guardiola will get the bulk of the credit for his magnificent coaching, he wouldn’t have the world-class players at his disposal if it wasn’t for Begiristain’s flawless approach to the transfer market.
Since making his first signing in the summer of 2013, Begiristain has recruited some of the best players of the last decade and here is every single one he’s made.
