Regardless of whether Manchester City win silverware next season or not, they look primed to triumph in the long run due to the plethora of excellent youngsters at their disposal.
One of them is Sverre Nypan, who Manchester City rate very highly and believe he is similarly prodigious to Franco Mastantuono.
Bernardo Silva admitted he adores Oscar Bobb, another young prospect who looks destined to reach the top.
Divine Mukasa compared himself to Kevin De Bruyne in terms of his profile and after registering 17 goals and 25 assists last season, perhaps he too could become a world-class number 10 one day.
Last year, Manchester City signed Cavan Sullivan, 15 who is officially going to join them in 2027.
Man City rate Cavan Sullivan very highly
Sullivan set the record as the youngest player in Philadelphia Union history to sign a first-team contract at 14 years of age.
Bradley Wright-Phillips lauded Sullivan, who is an attacking midfielder by trade and looks like the most naturally gifted player the United States may have ever produced.
Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that the teenager is set to fly to England to start a training camp with City.
Romano further revealed that Manchester City view Sullivan as an “elite talent” for the future.
What Man City’s scouts have already noticed about Cavan Sullivan
However, with the youngster still being 15 and yet to play in Europe, it would be a grave error to put too many expectations on him.
Sullivan must be allowed to develop over time.
While Pep Guardiola lauded a young Phil Foden in 2017 as he starred against Manchester United’s first-team in pre-season, even he was gradually blooded into the side.
However, Manchester City’s scouts believed that Sullivan is “the best 14-year-old in the world” when initially analysing his potential, as per analyst Taylor Twellman.

Clearly, the young midfielder seems to have the talent to become a top player.
The good news for him is that Manchester City are excellent at developing young players, as the examples of Foden, Bobb, Rico Lewis have illustrated over the years.
