Last year, Manchester City secured an agreement for American wonderkid Cavan Sullivan to join the club later on this decade.
Although Cavan Sullivan cannot officially join Manchester City until he turns 18 in 2027, the club is already looking to work with the 15-year-old midfielder.
Fabrizio Romano reported in April that Sullivan will start training with City during their pre-season in July this year.
Former Manchester City forward Bradley Wright-Phillips and former Manchester United man Gary Neville discussed Sullivan on the latest episode of It’s Called Soccer.

Gary Neville and Bradley Wright-Phillips call for patience over ‘exciting’ Cavan Sullivan
Neville shared what “definitely” needs to happen with Sullivan in terms of expectations, while Wright-Phillips told City fans what Sullivan is like as a player.
Wright-Phillips said fans should “definitely” be excited by Sullivan, although he urged the need to be patient and let him develop.
“Definitely excited. He’s clever, brave, will always want to get on the ball,” Wright-Phillips said on the podcast. “He can drive at players, good feet, go past players.
“I’ve had experience coaching against Cavan. I help out with Red Bull 2. I’m an assistant every now and again for Red Bull 2. So we played against him, and he’s a bright player.
“He’s very good, but I also just leave him, just let him learn, let him play, let him get experience.
“Because the more we blow these kids up, and we’ve seen big examples, the more we blow these kids up, the harder it is for them.
“What I did like on the show that we have on Apple TV, you get a good look at him as a kid, and I wasn’t sure what he would be like, but he can handle himself.
“They showed us some clips of him in training, he’s getting in fights with senior players, you know, respectfully though, he’s not shying away from where he is.
“But my advice would just be give him time.”
Neville echoed this, saying: “I mean, that’s no age, is it, whatsoever?
“I think that, you know, 15, I mean, I can’t even believe you will be playing at sort of that level with pressure on you at 15.
“We were just talking about sort of Yamal, weren’t we, before about him at 17, thinking what’s he doing?
But someone at 15 is just a kid. Definitely just let him breathe, let him enjoy himself. Don’t put too much pressure on him.”
What Cavan Sullivan thinks of Erling Haaland
If all goes to plan, Sullivan and Erling Haaland will be City teammates in the coming years.
And Sullivan certainly thinks very highly of the Norway international already.
Sullivan believes Haaland is the best striker in the world at present, as per Goal USA’s TikTok.
Haaland will be delighted with this praise from the youngster, especially with all the talk comparing the Man City star to Harry Kane this week.
Haaland will be hoping that the American talent will be assisting him many times in the future.
