Gary Neville has said that he would not want to go up against a winger like Jeremy Doku.

Even during the contest, Neville lauded the Belgian international for slowing down before bursting past Trent Alexander-Arnold to put in a cross; a trait he says all the best wingers in the world share.
The 21-year-old was at his lightning best against Jurgen Klopp’s side, taking men on left, right and centre and emerging as one of City’s brightest sparks.
After Manchester City drew to Liverpool, Gary Neville admitted that he would not like to go toe-to-toe with Jeremy Doku as a former right-back.
“I wouldn’t want to play against Doku because he can go left, he can go right, he’s explosive, pace from a standing start is something different”, he said on The Gary Neville Podcast.

Gary Neville makes a fair point and while Jeremy Doku has a way to go in terms of becoming the all-round package, as a wide dribbler, he is already up there with some of the very best in the world.
The youngster can take on full-backs both on the inside and outside equally well, while his style of dribbling also seems to be quite instinctive, which makes him extremely unpredictable.
To add to that, Doku’s athletic profile is incredible, not only due to his searing pace but also because his upper-body strength allows him to shield the ball excellently and turn his marker.
No full-back would ideally like to have to tame the Manchester City wideman and even a legend of the game like Gary Neville is no different.
