Well, what an experience this will be for the youngsters.

Guardiola had already named a 23-man squad for the FIFA Club World Cup which included Kevin De Bruyne, although the Belgian is not expected to play.

Now – however – the squad has increased to 29 players as the Spaniard names the following six talents in his squad, as detailed by the Manchester Evening News.

Manchester City fans will know all about Hamilton after the 20-year-old scored on his debut in the 3-2 UEFA Champions League win over Red Star Belgrade last week.

Susoho also featured in Serbia, with Alleyne on the bench alongside True Grant – who has not travelled to Saudi Arabia.

Manchester City’s development side lost 6-0 to Norwich on Sunday without the six talents featuring, which shows just how important they are in the City Football Academy.

Guardiola may not be able to use Manchester City youngsters

The Manchester Evening News believe it is unclear whether or not these six talents can actually play in the FIFA Club World Cup, as the treble winners already submitted their 23-man squad list.

Participating clubs can make changes to the squad 24 hours before their first match – Manchester City’s is on Tuesday against Urawa Red Diamonds – but only in the event of injury or illness.

Therefore, Guardiola may simply be taking these six youngsters to Saudi Arabia for the experience, rather than to actually use them – which should be hugely beneficial for their careers regardless.
