Micah Richards has now shared one doubt he had about Micah Hamilton at Manchester City.
The 35-year-old was speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast.
So, what did Micah Richards say about Micah Hamilton? Let’s take a look…
What Micah Richards said about Micah Hamilton
Well, the man who made 246 appearances for Manchester City heaped praise on the 20-year-old after his goalscoring debut in the UEFA Champions League.
However, Richards admitted to Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer that he was unsure whether Hamilton could cope with the demands of senior football.
The Sky Sports pundit said: “He has been on the bench a couple of times this season. You hear whispers from the academy. He’s played with Oscar Bobb, and he’s really close to Rico Lewis. When you’re watching academy football and someone gets loads of goals, loads of assists, then when they come to first team football, it’s almost like a headless chicken, so I didn’t know if he could cope at this level, but yesterday he showed he can cope.
“He’s dangerous. An electrifying winger who can play on the left, on the right, in the middle, got pace, got skill, and he can finish. It was a joy to see.”

Hamilton not only scored on his debut for Manchester City, but he also provided an assist by winning the penalty for Kalvin Phillips – Jamie Carragher was unsure about the manner in which the youngster hit the deck, however.
Micah Hamilton may need a loan move away from Manchester City
It was great to see Pep Guardiola hand chances to Hamilton and Mahamadou Susoho in Serbia on Wednesday.
However, the opportunity only came as Manchester City had already topped Group G.

Therefore, with the treble winners already out of the Carabao Cup, chances for fringe players like Hamilton will surely be few and far between in the second half of the season.
As a result, Manchester City should consider finding a loan move for the City Football Academy graduate, so he can continue his progress.
