Bernardo Silva has been the subject of speculation for a number of weeks now – but the superstar may have just dropped a hint he’ll actually be staying at Manchester City this summer.
City fans are really hoping that the Portugal international won’t depart.
It has been suggested that he would like to leave the club this summer following the Treble win.
Bernardo has actually been linked with an exit from the Etihad for the past couple of summers now.
Supposedly, he currently has interest from the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-German, as well as some Saudi clubs.
He hasn’t left yet though, and now, Bernardo might just have said something which points to him actually staying at the club.
Bernardo makes an interesting remark in Manchester City video
City have filmed a video for the official website, with Bernardo, Mateo Kovacic and Kalvin Phillips all being interviewed at the start.

The trio are asked about pre-season so far and how they’ve enjoyed Japan and South Korea.
At one point, Bernardo is asked for his opinion about City’s new third kit.
It was worn for the first time against Bayern Munich earlier this week and the City fans have generally given a very positive response to it.
Bernardo himself is a fan. But he made a rather interesting comment when talking about it.
He said (via mancity.com): “Great shirt, the one we played in against Bayern? It’s really nice, the black one with the lightning things. I like it a lot, hopefully we can win many, many games with that shirt.”
Bernardo comment may point to Man City stay
It is difficult not to read into this comment from Bernardo.
Just lately, reports of him leaving have actually died down a bit.
It has been suggested, though, that City will do everything they can to keep the player. Normally, City don’t stand in players’ ways when they want to go. But seemingly, Bernardo is a special case and the club really don’t want to lose him.

It is definitely an interesting remark. Would Bernardo really say that if he was leaving the club?
Of course, it’s possible he just said that without really thinking about any speculation.
But he is very intelligent guy.
City fans would certainly like to hope that this means he will be staying.
