Manchester City completed the signing of Savinho earlier this week – and the club have released footage of the moment he met some first-team stars.
City landed the Brazilian in a deal that could eventually be worth over £30 million.
City swooped after watching Savinho, also known as Savio, tear up La Liga last season with Girona. He played a big part in helping them to achieve Champions League football.
Savinho will now get the chance to play for City straight away, with the club not looking to loan him out.
Fans have high hopes for the youngster, and will perhaps be keen to see him enjoy a Jeremy Doku-style first season at the Etihad.
On Friday, City released footage of Savinho’s first day at the club, which featured some nice moments of him meeting some first-teamers.
Man City share footage of Savinho meeting Grealish, Ederson and Haaland

City have uploaded a video on their YouTube channel of the players returning to the CFA for pre-season.
Those that went deep at Euro 2024, plus Julian Alvarez (Copa America), have been given extended periods away.
But Pep Guardiola has still had a handful of players to work with.
Later in the video, there is footage of Savinho coming in to sign his contract on his first day at the club.
And there are some really nice moments of him meeting three first-teamers.
Savinnho first meets Rico Lewis and Jack Grealish in the changing room, and the winger embraces the youngster before saying: “Hey brother. How are you, you OK? Nice to meet you. Did you train today? Welcome bro! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.”
Next up, Savinho met manager Pep Guardiola who told the youngster that he would enjoy the Premier League. Shortly after this, Ederson joins the conversation. He says: “Welcome mate. Are you staying here?”
Savinho replies: “No I am going back to Brazil first.”
Ederson: “I am having treatment now. Are you staying around?”
Savinho: “Yes I am staying here a bit longer.”
Ederson: “Let’s speak later.”
Erling Haaland then arrives and says to Savinho: “Hello, welcome. You good?”
Pep then asks Haaland if he thinks Savinho speaks good English. Haaland says: “Yeah he speaks good English!”
A smiling Savinho then says that he is ‘working on it’.
Lovely to see from the City boys
- Who is Savinho? The ‘special’ starlet who tore up La Liga and is Man City’s first transfer of the summer
The reactions from the players to Savinho are lovely to see.
It must have been a little daunting for him, as a young player coming to join a huge club in England with lots of stars.
But they instantly all made him feel very welcome and you get the feeling he will be very well looked after.
You would imagine Ederson will be an important figure from Savinho as a fellow Brazilian, if of course, he is to stay at the club amid interest from Al-Ittihad. It was good to see him say that he would speak later to the youngster.
Obviously there are a few Portuguese players at the Etihad and they will also be good for Savinho when they return from their breaks
