Manchester City only have one trophy left to play for so will be desperate to defeat Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup this weekend.
After being knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid and long-since falling out of the Premier League title race, the FA Cup is the only way Manchester City can end a bitterly disappointing season with a trophy.
It’s been a comfortable path to the fifth round so far after Pep Guardiola’s side hammered neighbours Salford City 8-0 before overcoming Leyton Orient 2-1 last time out.
Now City will come up against another EFL outfit as they take on struggling Championship side Plymouth.

Man City vs Plymouth Argyle team news
Given City have a full week off before they are next in action and will be desperate to advance in the FA Cup, Guardiola may name as strong a side as possible for this one.
Erling Haaland could be rested, though, after returning from injury with a goal against Tottenham and there might be starts for the likes of James McAtee, Vitor Reis and Nico O’Reilly.
Meanwhile, Jack Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne, Stefan Ortega and Rico Lewis will be eager for some action as well.
Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Rodri and Oscar Bobb are all sidelined.

Prediction
Plymouth may have picked up a shock upset against Premier League leaders Liverpool in the last round but Arne Slot’s side was basically an U21s team.
City are almost guaranteed to name a much stronger starting XI even if Guardiola does make a couple of changes. Though not much has been easy for City this season, they should cruise this one.
Prediction: Manchester City 4-0 Plymouth.
