Manchester City will once again be aiming to get back to winning ways this week against Tottenham Hotspur.
There was yet more bitter disappointment last week as Manchester City’s dreary season continued with two further defeats.
Pep Guardiola’s side crashed out of the Champions League against Real Madrid and were then comfortably beaten at the Etihad by Liverpool on Sunday.
Though it feels like there isn’t much left for City to play for, they actually find themselves in a race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
To ensure they remain in the top European places, City need to start consistently getting points on the board. That will be easier said than done at their unhappy hunting ground of Tottenham.
Here is everything you need to know about the fixture.

Tottenham vs City teams, Erling Haaland news
Guardiola has offered some hope that Erling Haaland could return from injury in North London after sitting out of the last two matches.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the manager said: “Tonight [Tuesday], we will know after the training, hope so but I don’t know yet.
“[Haaland] Feels better but the last two games, could not play, we will see tomorrow.”
John Stones and Manuel Akanji remain sidelined, though, alongside long-term absentees Oscar Bobb and Rodri.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are without up to seven players as Dominic Solanke, Timo Werner, Christian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Richarlison, Ben Davies, and Radu Dragusin are all out.

Predictions
If there’s one place City wouldn’t want to visit during their current plight it’s the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, to face a Spurs side who have been a constant bogey team for them in recent years.
Though City managed to get a dramatic win there last season to all but secure the title, they are playing nowhere near that level this year.
Spurs have had their own problems and are much worse off in the Premier League table but have started to turn things around after winning their last three league matches.
It makes the result quite difficult to predict given both sides are capable of sinking to new depths but Tottenham will be the more confident.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Manchester City.
