Ruben Dias has expressed his delight about the fact that his countryman, Matheus Nunes has now joined Manchester City.
Speaking to the press (via Football Daily), the 26-year-old was quizzed about the £53 million (Sky Sports) man’s arrival this summer.
Ruben Dias has said that he is buzzing to see another Portuguese player in Matheus Nunes donning the Manchester City shirt.

Branded as ‘incredible’ by Bruno Fernandes, the 25-year-old is regarded as an immensely talented midfielder.
While things did not quite work out for him at Wolves, there is a belief amongst many that the former Sporting CP talisman could explode into life under Pep Guardiola’s coaching.
Now, Ruben Dias has shared his happiness about Matheus Nunes becoming a Manchester City player.

“I am very happy [for Matheus Nunes]. I think all Portuguese are also happy for another Portuguese player joining Manchester City. Obviously, currently it is one of the best teams in the world. So, I as a Portuguese and as his teammate and above all, as I said, as a Portuguese, I feel very [happy] that another [Portuguese player] has the opportunity to be in this position.”

Joining fellow Portuguese players such as Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva in the Manchester City first-team, Matheus Nunes will get a closer look at how such elite professionals train day in, day out.
Also, in a team that suits attacking players like him, the ex-Wolves midfielder will likely feel much more at home in sky blue.
To add to that, Pep Guardiola’s track record of improving players speaks for itself and to hone his craft under him is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for Matheus Nunes to reach the next level.
