Janusz Michallik has now decided whether Erling Haaland or Son Heung-min is better currently.
Speaking to ESPN FC, the pundit was asked to rank the top five players in the Premier League.
Janusz Michallik ranked Erling Haaland and Son Heung-min quite close to each other but who comes out on top according to him?

The pair are the two top goalscorers in the league currently, with the Manchester City striker leading the charts with eight goals and the Tottenham captain in second with six.
Branded as ‘astonishing’ by Rio Ferdinand, the Norwegian superstar is widely regarded as the best striker in the world; a position where the South Korean international has been deployed in this season.
However, Janusz Michallik has ranked Erling Haaland at No.4 in his list, just below Son Heung-min at No.3.
“At four, I put Erling Haaland because even though I mean, imperfect, all players are. Still eight goals out there, still very, very important”, he said.
“At number three, I put Heung-min Son because I just love what he’s done, something that I felt that he would do after that season where he finished top with Mo Salah in terms of scoring charts. In my opinion, that year he was the best player in the Premier League, even though Mo Salah won it.”
“Even though last year, I didn’t put much into it because I knew he hadn’t lost it but I’m happy he’s proven me right here.”

Especially considering that Son Heung-min has now become an out-and-out striker, one struggles to see the logic that Janusz Michallik has applied in ranking him above Erling Haaland.
Even if the rationale is that Son possesses a more complete skillset, that certainly is not the case anymore as his dribbling and creativity are far from what they used to be in his pomp.
As No.9’s go, Erling Haaland is only in competition with Harry Kane, who he bettered by outscoring him whilst winning the treble in his debut season at Manchester City.
