David Silva has named Erling Haaland as the current player at Manchester City he would have loved to play with.
Speaking to the Mirror, the Sky Blues legend was quizzed about the player he would have liked to have shared the pitch with during his time at the club.
Unsurprisingly, a creative midfielder like David Silva wishes he could have had a chance to play with a goalscoring machine like Erling Haaland at Manchester City.

Branded as ‘phenomenal’ by Alan Shearer, the £51 million (Sky Sports) man was also tipped by the Newcastle United striker to break his all-time Premier League goal record.
This season again, the 23-year-old is the league’s top scorer four games in, with six goals to his name.
Now, David Silva has expressed his desire to have played with Erling Haaland if he was at Manchester City.

“Haaland is a beast and I like the way he moves on the field. I would have loved to have played with him, to help him score even more goals”, he said.
Erling Haaland would have been even more unstoppable alongside the Spaniard
If Kevin De Bruyne was not enough of a creative force for Erling Haaland to feast up top, imagine adding David Silva to the mix.
The Spaniard’s final ball was not only terrific but most importantly, his ability to find space against low blocks would have make this City team even more devastating.
Considering the number of deep blocks that Pep Guardiola’s men face week in, week out, Silva would also create space for his teammates to help set the Norwegian superstar up.
Or in vintage David Silva fashion, he would set up the pre-assist that led to the youngster’s eventual goal.
Defenders across world football should be glad this duo never had the chance to join forces.
