Owen Hargreaves has said that it would be silly to doubt Manchester City megastar Erling Haaland.
Speaking to TNT Sports, the conversation was centred around the £51 million (Sky Sports) man’s recent struggles in front of goal.
Now, Owen Hargreaves has said that despite Erling Haaland not being in the best vein of form currently, doubting him would not be advisable.
Owen Hargreaves says Erling Haaland could become even scarier
Branded as an ‘unbelievable footballer’ by Jack Grealish, the Norwegian striker was not at his lethal best against RB Leipzig.
While Haaland did not particularly miss gilt-edged chances, he did so against the likes of West Ham United and Red Star Belgrade recently.
However, Owen Hargreaves has emphasised that this is not much to be worried about as a more fired-up Erling Haaland could be about to cause serious damage.

“[It] doesn’t even matter if you can figure this guy out. He’s too quick, he’s too strong, he’s a lethal finisher and he’s efficient so I wouldn’t make him angry. I wouldn’t want to see him angry”, he said.
Doubting Erling Haaland is just naïve at this point
Owen Hargreaves hit the nail on the head as Erling Haaland has proven everywhere he has played that he is a once-in-a-generation goalscorer.
If his critics believe that the 23-year-old simply scores goals at such a staggering rate due to the enviable supply chain at Manchester City, such a claim would be rendered baseless when taking a peek at his goalscoring numbers at Molde, RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund.
Like any striker, Haaland has been wasteful in front of goal in recent matches and yet, he remains the Premier League’s top scorer.
After having scored 52 goals in 53 games across all competitions last season whilst also having won the treble, Erling Haaland remains a force of nature and to question him would be egregious.
