Manchester City superstar Jack Grealish has lavished praise on to Erling Haaland.
Speaking to The Athletic journalist Sam Lee in a latest interview, the Englishman gave his two cents on the £51 million (Sky Sports) man.
Jack Grealish lauded Erling Haaland as a player, while touching on his relationship with him off the pitch as well.
Jack Grealish raves about Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland
Branded as an ‘amazing guy’ by Ilkay Gundogan, the 23-year-old seems to have become a real favourite within the City dressing room.
While it is impossible for any and everyone associated with the club not to have fallen in love with the youngster after his unprecedented impact in his debut campaign, he has clearly struck a chord with his teammates even aside from football.
Jack Grealish, who reserved special praise for Erling Haaland as a player also revealed that the pair met each other during their summer break.

“He was happy to see me! We get on really well. I wouldn’t say we’re a similar age because there are three or four years difference, but we get on really well, on and off the pitch.”
“He’s a great guy, so humble, and obviously an unbelievable footballer. I met up with him in the south of France in the summer, when we went out for some food. But then I didn’t see him for a while. It was nice to see him again, but it was nice to see everyone.”
The togetherness amongst Jack Grealish and Co. is one of their biggest secrets to success
While it seems natural that teammates in Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland would have a tight-knit bond, Ruben Dias revealed that Mateo Kovacic was surprised by how close a group Manchester City have at their disposal.
Does it come as a surprise that a lack of harmony in the dressing room is a fundamental factor behind a lot of teams’ lack of success?
The same cannot be said about this City side, as their camaraderie seems to be the driving factor behind the players not throwing a hissy fit once a fellow teammate takes their place in the XI.
In such a highly competitive environment, it really helps when the players in question are essentially each other’s biggest supporters.
