Manchester City fans are starting to feel 2024/25 could be another special season, with the club having made a perfect start to the new season.
Manchester City ran out 3-1 winners against West Ham United on Saturday, with Erling Haaland again making headlines after scoring another hat-trick.
The Norwegian goal machine has already hit seven goals in the Premier League this season.
City typically start new seasons slowly.
But the club now sit top of the league after three games, and Pep Guardiola still has the likes of Rodri and Phil Foden to get back into the team.
On Saturday, few really gave West Ham much hope of getting anything against City. And one big reason for that is because Pep has a truly amazing record against the Hammers.

City were just clinical against West Ham.
There were top performances from the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Rico Lewis and Bernardo Silva, and it was that man Haaland once again who was just ruthless in front of goal.
City and West Ham meetings tend to go one of two ways.
Either City win, or sometimes the game ends up being a draw.
West Ham have never beaten City since Pep took charge back in the summer of 2016 and a truly amazing statistic is now doing the rounds after his latest win over the Irons.
As per Squawka, Pep has now gone 17 games unbeaten against West Ham. This happens to be the longest unbeaten streak of any manager against a specific side without ever losing in Premier League history.
Of those 17 games, 15 have been wins and just two have been draws.
West Ham fans must be sick of Pep

This is a pretty remarkable statistic about Pep and West Ham fans really must be sick of facing his City teams at this point.
17 games against one side without defeat is so impressive, but it’s even more amazing to consider there are only two draws in that record.
Pep just loves to face the Irons, and their supporters will surely be delighted to see the back of the Spaniard when he does leave the club.
And in all honesty, a lot of other fanbases will likely feel that way.
Pep has amazing records against most of the sides currently in the Premier League, and many people will be longing for the day City finally announce that Pep will be leaving. City fans, of course, hope that still won’t be for some time yet.
He’s out of contract next summer, but there is hope that he will extend at some point this season.
