Jack Grealish lavished praise on to Phil Foden after his sparkling performance for England in their 3-1 victory against Scotland.

Jack Grealish sent a wordless reaction to express how brilliant Phil Foden was for England against Scotland at Hampden Park.

The ‘Stockport Iniesta’ was branded as ‘amazing’ by Ally McCoist as he dazzled from minute one against Steve Clarke and Co.

Foden opened the scoring for the Three Lions on the night, getting on the end of an inch-perfect Walker cross to tap the ball into the back of the net.

Jack Grealish commented on the post by Phil Foden with the ‘applause’ and ‘top’ emojis as he stood out for England against Scotland.

It’s fair to say that sometimes, words do not do justice to the 23-year-old’s magnificence.

Phil Foden could have the best season of his career so far

Erling Haaland himself recently tipped Phil Foden to have one hell of a season and Jack Grealish is also showing his support to him after he impressed once again.

In the previous campaign, the treble-winner was far from being as poor as some may believe.

With 15 goals and eight assists in all competitions, Foden was largely terrific but injuries and rotation meant he found it a challenge to nail down a spot in City’s starting lineup.

However, with Phil Foden now fit and firing as well as playing more centrally, where he is at his best, one could witness the best version of him.

Replacing Kevin De Bruyne’s creative burden from the middle of the park, the Englishman has shown in the early weeks of the campaign that he is not feeling the pressure one bit.

If the versatile midfielder maintains such high standards, there will be no stopping him.
