Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has lavished praise on to Manchester City attacker Phil Foden for how technically brilliant he is.
Branded as ‘awesome’ by Pep Guardiola due to his impact since day one, the youngster has always been highly-rated due to the fact that he looks like a classic Spanish midfielder on the ball.
Jordan Henderson, who has trained and played with Phil Foden a number of times for England has waxed lyrical about him.
Jordan Henderson raves about Phil Foden
The 22-year-old has not had his best season this time around, owing to injuries and rotation.
However, there remains no question mark amongst the City fanbase that Foden is an elite talent and is destined for greatness.
Jordan Henderson seems to be in the same camp about Phil Foden, as he praised his fellow countryman after being quizzed about whether he is one of the most technically gifted players he has ever played with.

“Yeah, he’s an incredible player. Always, again, just loves playing football every time walking around the hotel, just seems to be kicking the ball up everywhere you are”, he told Sky Sports.
“He’s kicking the ball off the way or he’s kicking it around, so he’s always got a ball at his feet. Obviously, that’s why he’s so technically good.”
Doubt Foden at your own peril
While Phil Foden has had his fair share of critics this campaign, even opposition players like Jordan Henderson acknowledge how much of a special player he is.
At such a young age, the Stockport-born attacker has not only been a key cog behind the best team in the country but has done so in a multitude of positions.
While Foden’s stock is perhaps at an all-time low, he has still managed to have a solid, if not spectacular season and is likely to return back to his brilliant best sooner rather than later.
At this point, doubting the 22-year-old’s magnificence is simply naïve.
