Manchester City will bounce back from the defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

That is the message from Josko Gvardiol to Manchester City fans on Instagram after the disappointing result against Arsenal in North London.

Manchester City suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.

Gabriel Martinelli scored the only goal of the game in the 86th minute.

It was a deflected effort.

I believe that on the balance of play, a draw would have been a fair result.

There was really nothing much between Arsenal and City on Sunday.

The defences were on top.

Josko Gvardiol sends message to Manchester City fans after Arsenal result

Josko Gvardiol started for City, and the Croatia international defender has sent a strong message to the fans.

As you can see below, Gvardiol, who joined City in the summer transfer window, has made it clear that the Citizens are determined to bounce back and will return from the international break stronger.

Gvardiol wrote: “We learn, we grow, we return stronger.”

City are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from eight games.

The defender champions are two points behind North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, who are first and second respectively in the standings.

My View: Manchester City will bounce back

I am confident that Manchester City will bounce back.

They certainly will.

City are going through a tricky spell at the moment.

Yes, Pep Guardiola’s side won in the UEFA Champions League last week, but they have lost to Newcastle United (EFL Cup), Wolverhampton Wanderers (Premier League) and Arsenal (Premier League) in recent times.

Erling Haaland is not scoring goals either.

Of course, we cannot expect Haaland to bang in two or three goals in every match, but he does seem quiet in matches at the moment.

But, I am confident that it will change after the international break.

Guardiola will make sure of that.

City will take on Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League after the international break.

Expect fireworks.
