Bayern Munich could actually decide to sell Manchester City target Alphonso Davies after growing frustrated by his performances.
That is according to Florian Plettenburg of Sky Germany.
So, what is the latest on Manchester City target Alphonso Davies? Let’s take a look…
Alphonso Davies could be sold
Well, Bayern Munich were not actively looking to sell the Canada international – although his demands could back the German giants into a corner.
Plettenburg claims that Davies is looking for a yearly salary of around €10m – €13m (£8.6m – £11.2m) to sign a new contract at the Allianz Arena.
He currently earns £6.9m-a-year which equates to £132,000-a-week.
However, Bayern Munich are said to be unwilling to pay that amount, as the Bavarians are not satisfied with how the 23-year-old has performed in recent months.
Plettenburg adds that Davies will be put up for sale in 2024 if no progress can be made in negotiations – his current terms expire in June 2025.

It comes after 90min claimed that Manchester City want to sign the Canadian as Pep Guardiola attempts to bring a new left-back to the Etihad Stadium.
Davies has provided three assists in 20 appearances for Bayern Munich so far this season, while also picking up two yellow cards.
Manchester City face Alphonso Davies battle
Manchester City are not the only side looking at Davies.
Plettenburg adds that Real Madrid want to sign the Buduburam-born speedster as well.

In fact, a story from Mundo Deportivo in Spain even added that Bayern Munich are wary of Davies running his contract down to join Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2025, just like David Alaba did in 2021.
Therefore, Manchester City will have a tough task in convincing Davies to reject Real Madrid – few players in history have snubbed the Spanish giants.
Be sure to keep an eye on this developing situation, as further updates should follow.
