Manchester City have seen numerous players join and leave the club during the current summer transfer window.

In terms of new incoming signings, City have brought in Savinho from Troyes after seeing him spend last season on loan at Girona.

Then regarding the players who have waved goodbye to the Etihad Stadium, the Blues have sold Sergio Gomez and Liam Delap in addition to seeing Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Tommy Doyle join the clubs they spent last season on loan with permanently.

Even though the 2024/25 season is around the corner, a key figure in Pep Guardiola’s squad has found himself being mentioned with a move to another Premier League side.

This has since led to one journalist sharing what he’s heard on this particular matter.

Journalist shared what he’s heard about potential Jack Grealish exit from Man City

After it was recently reported by TEAMtalk that Aston Villa are pondering a move to sign Jack Grealish on loan with an obligation to buy, journalist Dean Jones had this to say on the matter during a recent edition of the Ranks FC Ultras podcast.

He said: “There was a story that came out about Aston Villa considering a move for Jack Grealish.

“I have to be careful with this one. It was mentioned to me by someone else and I had heard this whisper about Aston Villa potentially going for Jack Grealish.

“They’re showing ambition with Joao Felix and the rest of it, but there was a feeling they might test the water on Jack Grealish. My hunch is that Grealish is going nowhere.”

City should keep Grealish

City paid a club record fee of £100m to sign the winger from Villa back in the 2021 summer transfer window.

With three seasons under his belt at the Manchester club, the 28-year-old has appeared in 125 games across all competitions, scoring 14 goals, delivering 18 assists and winning multiple trophies along the way.

Having only started 10 Premier League games last season, which he admitted in an interview with The Athletic was a very difficult one for him, Grealish recently said that this and the fact that he was not picked to be in the England squad for the 2024 European Championship will be used as motivation heading into the upcoming season.

Therefore, we feel that the Blues should have no inclination to let the winger go this summer.
