Manchester City have already seen one exciting attacking player join the club during this summer transfer window.
Earlier this month, City announced that they had signed Savinho from Troyes as their first signing of the window.
They have, however, been linked with moves for numerous other players across Europe.
In fact, a journalist has now shared some details concerning one particular player who has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium over the past few weeks.

Journalist claims it’s still possible Man City could sign Dani Olmo this summer
While discussing the current situation concerning RB Leipzig star and reported City target Dani Olmo in a recent edition of the Ranks FC Ultras podcast, journalist Dean Jones had this to say on the matter.
He said: “RB Leipzig want €60m (£50m) for Olmo. Dani Olmo will cost €60m, it’s not beyond the realms that you can pay it over time, but it can’t be dependent on how well he does, they want that money no matter what. Barcelona are trying to figure that out.
“In terms of Man City. I have reported this more than most people, which is a bit nerve-wracking as a reporter, but you take your sources for what they are and you learn who you can and can’t trust.
“I’ve never said that Man City have made an offer for Olmo, but I’ve been in no doubt that they have firm interest. That remains the case as I understand it today.
“I’ve read that people had concerns about Olmo, but Man City don’t have any doubts over his quality, maybe some doubts over his injury record.
“He’s still attainable, let’s see. I won’t go as far as to say it’s likely that Dani Olmo joins Man City, but I won’t say it’s impossible either.”
City seem to be in no rush to sign Olmo
After it was recently reported that the Manchester club had sent an offer to sign the Spaniard, journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed on his X account that while this wasn’t the case according to his information, the Blues are keeping a close eye on Olmo’s situation.
Taking into account how far we are into the transfer window, it doesn’t seem that while they may have an interest in the player, City aren’t overly eager to land a deal for Olmo.
With Jones now saying that there’s still a chance the midfielder, who scored three goals and delivered two assists for Spain in the recent 2024 European Championship, it seems that this particular transfer saga could go down to the wire if Olmo ends up following Savinho to Manchester.
